Paintings: Winter Landscapes
It is a great day to finally say “hello” to spring and “goodbye” to winter! :) Sun coming out of the clouds makes me feel the first calendar day of spring even more… For the memory of this snowy cold winter I present my three acrylic winter landscapes I painted in the last couple of weeks during my art class.
Gold And Purple Winter Landscape
acrylic on paper, 35×49 cm
The assignment was to paint in complementary colors to those colors we see on the reference photoss. Loved it! I started in the complementary colors, but continued adding details according to my color feeling.
Pink Sky Landscape

Cold and crisp snow covering the ground and the trees against a cool pink sky…
Misty Winter Landscape

Soft pastel colors of the misty, snow covered landscape, illuminated my the rising sun…
