I have just finished my first printable coloring book with the illustrations with Rondy the Elephant! his is the first book in my Rondy series. It features 10 black and white line art illustrations by me, Oksancia, suitable for children of any age. What a great weather it is today! I do hope the sun stays and brings more warmth very soon :) My spring mood as definitely helped me with my new floral seamless patterns series for iStockphoto. These decorative flowers are a pleasure to work at! For this vector series I got inspired by wonderful kimono fabrics of Japan with their bold flowers, vivid colors and golden highlights.

I’m having a blast with my Rondy the Elephant project! This little fellow inspires me every day :) More elephants to come on my 100 Elephants and 33 poems Flickr gallery and on my Etsy shop too. I was inspired by this week’s topic on Illustration Friday – sweater – and immediately had this idea about elephants needing an extra sleeve in their sweaters to keep their trunks warm :) It was on my mind all weekend and here you can see the result: Rondy the Elephant in his favorite yellow sweater with a cup of tea.
