Dear all! I am finally on vacation! :) After a couple of weeks sorting through our things in Groningen, Alex and I got rid of most of our belongins, packed two small bags and set off on the road to travel in Southeast Asia… We are in Bangkok and it is a wonderfull feeling to be alive!
Hey all! Sorry for a long silence! I’ve been taking a break from work to organize, clean up, throw away and pack all of my belongings for the big move in a couple of days. I’ve been spending most of my time away from the computer, but one thing happened that made me come back to the shiny screen of my MacBook – a brand new batch of my fabric proofs arrived from Spoonflower! :) Check them out!
I have recently found out that my vector illustration “Asleep” is now on the cover of a book! So exciting! :) Alex found it for me and I am so happy to share it with you! The title of the book is Elas Escrevem Volume 2 which means “They Write”. It is a second part of the series with short stories and poems in Portuguese language published in São Paulo, Brazil.
It’s official! I have temporarily closed both of my Etsy shops Rondy the Elephant and Optimistic Art while I am finishing up in Groningen and moving to California. I am not sure how long it will take, but I’ll keep you posted :) Thank you, all my lovely Etsy customers! Hey all! How are you doing? :) I am working on my projects and enjoying nice Dutch autumn. I hope everything is fine with you! I think it’s about time to announce that Alex and I will be moving this winter around New Year’s Day. We are currently living in Groningen, the Netherlands and this winter we will be moving to new and exciting place – Santa Barbara, California. We are really looking forward to new adventures there! :)
I am happy to be back to work after a very packed with events week in Ukraine. All the traveling made a good computer brake and the weather was just wonderful… I only wish we hadn’t gotten so cold during our fishing morning. Instead of catching a fish we caught a cold :) Well, live and learn… Anyway, I have some very exciting news: my first 61 fabric swatches from Spoonflower arrived while we were away and let me tell you, I am having so much fun with them now! Check them out…
