Let Them Smile, But Don’t Stop! Animation Video

My third video is up! :) This time it is a mix of my poem, illustration and a video blog with yours truly! I still feel a bit tense on camera, but I really had lots of fun coming up with new ideas and filming this short movie. Alex helped me with everything. Hope you enjoy watching our little video as we did creating it.

This animation is based on my painting illustration Let Them Smile, But Don’t Stop! Prints in my Etsy shop.

I played around with the photo of this painting in Photoshop: separated it in layers and created a smiling Rondy the Elephant for my cartoon.



He is still a little elephant and changing the light in his home (where big elephants live too) is quite an adventure :D
We used cut out paper prints for the background, characters and objects. We filmed the whole process with Nikon 5100 camera.

I plan to create more fun videos in the future of both creative short movies and video blog about my art adventures.
