Vector: Peacock At The Sunset
I’m finally able to get back to my experiments in vector technique after a couple of pretty busy weeks of art lessons and freelance projects (I will tell about them a bit later.) Here is my latest vector illustration I created in Adobe Illustrator SC4 with the help of my Cintiq 12wx. Drawing and painting on it is really a wonderful experience!
Live Drawing: Charcoal Portraits
It is time to show my progress in live drawing sessions I’ve been taking at Art Center in Groningen BK050 since last September. As I had no previous experience with live drawing before and no idea about charcoal as a drawing medium, I was really excited to try them all out. You can view my post about sketches from the first lesson on my old blog.
Hand Painted Porcelain: Japanese Doll
I couldn’t wait until it was finished and ready to be shown! My Japanese Doll hand-painted porcelain sugar bowl I made recently. It is baked to be dishwasherproof and food safe. This little cutie is for sale in my new Etsy Shop. It took some time to make, but I’m really pleased with the result :)
Painting: Tulips In Blue Vase
I’ve been really busy all the last week with painting and drawing at the art school, which was lots of fun! Today is my first day back to work and I have something new to share with you! Here is an acrylic painting I finished recently.
Holiday Gifts: Painted Porcelain Sugar Bowls
Part two of my holiday gifts posts. This time it’s hand-painted sugar bowls that I made for my friends and relatives. In part one you can find my painted teapots. I designed them all to become Floral Hand-painted Porcelain Series. Had lots of fun while creating these little cheeky cuties! :)
Holiday Gifts: Painted Porcelain Teapots
Hello everybody! I’m back from my little holiday vacation which I’ve spent in Ukraine with my family. Great times, though I was a bit sad as I didn’t have a chance to meet my friends this time. Thank you all for your sweet comments on my birthday and New Year! Starting from today I’m beginning a new and exciting year full of great projects and creativity (and hopefully traveling ). I wish the same to all of you!
