It was quite a surprise to me that I’ve been blogging about my art and life for two years already! :) Today is my blog’s birthday!
Charcoal Drawings: Landscape And Portrait
For the last five months I’ve been drawing a lot with charcoal. It was a totally strange medium for me at the beginning and it felt limiting because of it’s lack of bright colors. But over the time, as I started to feel more confident with a stick of a charcoal in my hand, I began to appreciate the nice texture, contrast and variety of techniques this medium offers.
Live Drawing: Charcoal Portraits
It is time to show my progress in live drawing sessions I’ve been taking at Art Center in Groningen BK050 since last September. As I had no previous experience with live drawing before and no idea about charcoal as a drawing medium, I was really excited to try them all out.
